My Work Experience

March 2021 – Current

The Customer Service Specialist III position at GoDaddy is a crucial role within the company, resolving internal issues, communicating with cross-functional teams to assist with customer escalations or technical issues and answering department specific questions for other departments. I help develop training materials for new employees and conduct training sessions. I answer emails from customers focusing on helping businesses create and maintain their websites and marketing strategies focusing on delivering visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly designs. This role plays a pivotal part in GoDaddy's mission to empower individuals and businesses to establish and grow their online presence effectively.

I previously held the role of Customer Service Specialist II from April 2024 to November 2024 and prior to that I was a Website Specialist I from March 2021 - April 2024.

Unique Experience:

My experience as part of a pilot program that transitioned into a permanent team is particularly valuable. It demonstrates my adaptability and willingness to innovate. This experience involved testing new approaches, tools, or methodologies in website creation and maintenance, and my feedback and contributions played a pivotal role in shaping the team's direction and growth.

Achievements:

  • I have held a consistent standard of high quality of customer service which is proven by months of high NPS (Net Promoter Survey) scores.
  • I received the Q3 Rockstar award in 2023 for best overall numbers in the department.

May 2020 – January 2021

The Customer Service Agent position at Discover Financial Services is a vital role within the organization, centered around providing exceptional customer support to cardholders and clients of Discover's financial products and services. As a Customer Service Agent, my responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring a positive and smooth experience for customers. This includes addressing a variety of concerns, such as account inquiries, billing questions, and assistance with financial transactions utilizing various software programs such as CRM systems.

August 2019 – May 2020

The Lab Tech position at Glendale Community College was a critical role within the institution's technical support team, focused on providing assistance and supervision in the computer labs. As a Lab Tech, my responsibilities extend to both hardware and software support including troubleshooting and installation of software, contributing to the smooth functioning of computer resources for students and faculty. I also provided detailed reports to responsible teams for all issues or events that occurred.

September 2019 – February 2020

I volunteered with 5th grade students to assist in learning and understanding of materials. I provided one-on-one tutoring to students who needed additional help with coursework. I assisted the lead teacher in developing class schedule and adapted activities or lessons for diverse learners according to individual needs. I set up technology equipment and assisted with technical issues in the classroom.

Unique Experience:

  • I helped to build 'Viking Ships' with the students that could stay afloat, travel a distance of 10ft using wind, and was within the building constraints of 12in x 12in x 12in and helped them learn how to use their own engineering skills. During this time, I worked with the teacher to test multiple ships and when failure occurred during test, assisted children in understanding what went wrong and how they could fix it along with encouraging them to use their own ideas to expand on the basics.

September 2017 – February 2019

The Cashier position at Fry's Food and Drug was a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process for customers. I provided excellent customer service and handling cash, card or check transactions accurately and quickly while troubleshooting any technical issues with checkout machines. I worked at not only handling the job itself but at growing the small personal connections being in a community environment and making the store a more inviting place to shop for adults and children alike!
